Messy Little Man

Here he is eating his carrots and he loves to make a mess. I think this is the Lords way of teaching me little boys love to get dirty because I always say I will not have a messy kid!!!
He loves taking a bite and then sucking on his fingers!!

5 Month Pictures

These are Samuel's 5 Month Old pictures. I just had them done at Walmart and only got these 2 poses. They turned out cute and he was really happy that day too.  And you can see he was sitting up by him self but we were right there to catch him as he would fall. He is sitting up by himself but still is not sure about how to balance himself so he stills falls to the sides or back. 

Samuel's 6 Month Check Up

I took Samuel back to the doctor Wednesday to have a check up on his ear and doctor said he was great. While we were there they went ahead and does his 6 month visit and yes he got a shot!! Ouch - it hurts Mommy too, I get teary eyed every time. He was just smiling at the nurse and then she gave him his shot and then he frowned at her - you know the Sam frown he has. Anyways he weighed 15 lbs and 2 oz and was 26 1/2 inches long. Thought I would give you all update on him.
I was going threw some quotes I had today and saw this one and thought I would share it:

Hello Everyone
Just wanted to give everyone a update - we have been a little busy this past week so I will post Samuel's 5 Month Pictures this week sometime. Samuel got sick last week with a ear infection but he is doing much better!!! He has started sucking on his toes and if you lay him in the floor he moves around like crazy, Saturday we laid him in his bedroom floor on a big blanket and he moved himself under his bed, his little hed was the only thing sticking out and you know me I got a picture of it. I just can't believe he is 6 months old! :(
We will be having his 6 month pictures made next week along with family pictures. I am really excited about them - I have some really neat ideas I want my photographer to try. So I will let you all know when they are up on her website to view.

This was Samuel's first baby food we gave him. He really liked it a lot!!  He loved sucking on his fingers the whole time.

First Trip to the Smoky Mountains

This past weekend we went to Pigeon Forge and to Gatlinburg. We went to the Aquarium on Saturday and Samuel really liked looking at the fish and the bubbles going to the top of the water. That afternoon we went to Wonderworks and after going thru the first tunnel, I think Samuel was zoned out because he fell right asleep after that. He also got to ride his first Carousel. We just had a really good time!!!

This makes him look really little.

They had these little pods set up that you can crawl under and get in - it was fun for Daniel and I getting in there. Samuel really liked being in there - I would love to know what he is thinking.

I thought this picture turned out neat cause if the seahorse between them. And Samuel finally noticed it and was like wow what is that.

I love this one of him and his Daddy!!

Why Daddy's love to put there children way in the air and make the Mommy's a nervous wreck - I will never know, I guess it is just a Daddy thing!!
